My Professional Learning Network

This week I am challenged to think about my personal/professional learning network (PLN). In the National Educational Technology Plan, it explains that, “[m]any educators work alone, with little interaction with professional colleagues or experts in the outside world”, which limits their continuous professional learning and eventually leads to educators leaving the profession in some cases (2010, p. 39). Therefore, it is important to take time to think about your own PLN and how you can improve it to create a world of resources that will result in continuous improvement in your profession. I have created a Popplet to show my current personal/professional learning network; as I reflect on it, my goal is to continue to grow my PLN, especially in the area of social media forums, like Twitter and blogMy PLN
